The Applications Engineer will be a dedicated expert in application assistance, providing both pre- and post sales support, interfacing daily with our customers, and offering technical support and guidance for a wide variety of test and measurement chain solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Assists sales staff in assessing new potential applications and offers technical guidance in the recommendation of products to new customers.
• Travels to customer sites, in support of selling HBM products; a significant portion of your time may be spent on travel, depending on business activity.
• Provides technical support for our entire product range ; troubleshoots problems via telephone, fax, Webex, and electronic mail.
• Maintains positive working relationships with customer base; works closely with sales and customer service in providing customers with exemplary assistance.
• Develop existing and new Service and Support contracts.
• Coordinating multiple deadlines for customer implementation plans.
Job requirements
Education and/or experience:
• HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical/Automotive or mechatronics
• Five years related experience (in technical support or instrumentation based products.
• Background in Industrial Automation, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Data Acquisition, or Measurement of Mechanical Quantities required.
• Experience with strain gauges and/or strain measurement rotating systems, torque measurement, or vibrating systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of test and measurement software.
• Previous experience supporting Test & Measurement customers.
The Calibration Engineer will be field based and responsible for the calibration of the HBM amplifier and DAQ systems, interfacing daily with our customers, you may also be involved with and offering technical support and guidance for a wide variety of test and measurement chain solutions.
Responsibilities:
• On site and office based calibration of our range of laboratory based and industrial Amplifier and DAQ systems
• Travels to customer sites, in support of selling HBM products; a significant portion of your time may be spent on travel, depending on business activity.
• Maintains positive working relationships with customer base; works closely with sales and customers to provide efficient calibration support.
• Assist sales and technical support team in develop existing and new Service and Support contracts.
• Coordinating multiple deadlines for customer implementation plans.
Job requirements
Education and/or experience:
• HNC/HND or degree electronics.
• Two years related experience (in field calibration and/or support of instrumentation based products.
• Background in calibration/support of Industrial Automation, Control Systems, Instrumentation, Data Acquisition, or Measurement of Mechanical Quantities.
• Knowledge of test and measurement software.
• Previous experience supporting Test & Measurement customers.
